Applications are not currently being accepted for teaching positions in the elementary and junior high schools for the 2011/2012 school year.

• Applicants for teaching positions with the Fort Leavenworth School District must possess a valid Kansas Teaching License.  Recent college graduates must have already begun the process for initial licensure.  Those applicants who are currently certified to teach in a state other than Kansas must have already submitted the licensing packet to KSDE in Topeka before being considered for a teaching position.
• Professionals and para professionals seeking positions in the area of Special Education should apply for openings in the Fort Leavenworth School District through the Leavenworth County Special Education Co-Op, which is administered through the Leavenworth School District USD 453.
